Face it, there is no place on earth that is more football friendly than Las Vegas and Monday Night Football is no exception to the rule. Obviously, being in a stadium while the game is being played out right in front of your eyes is an exhilarating experience but that is not always the way things work out. But make no mistake, you can still have the time of your life by making your way to Vegas and hitting up one of these superior venues for a Monday Night Football game, especially when it culminates with a huge Super Bowl blowout party at the end of the season. 10. Sapphire Gentleman’s Club
What better way to get your blood flowing and heart pumping than catching The Monday Night Football Kickoff Party at the “World’s Largest Gentleman’s Club”, SAPPHIRE. Voted the number one Gentleman’s Club by the Las Vegas Review Journal for 2012, this is CLEARLY the way to go to start the season off right. With a $100,000 worth of upgrades since last season, now Sapphire has five huge 20’ HD screens all with HD projectors lining not only the Showroom, but on the main floor as well. This makes seeing a game at Sapphire a spectacular spectacle! Let’s not forget that the 100’s of “cheerleader” dancers really enhance your viewing pleasure too! The $1 Halftime dances for just ONE DOLLAR are a great savings. Not to mention the open bar and free food from 4 – 8pm! There will also be plenty of prizes, raffles and giveaways. So, definitely come let off some steam and kickoff your season at Sapphire on Sept.10, 2012. Can’t make this party, don’t worry Sapphire will be available the entire season for Monday Night Football and for MNF on Thursdays!
PBR Rock Bar is the wildest bar inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. Are you ready for some Monday Night Football? (Crowd goes wild!) Now that football season is about in full swing, PBR has you covered with 105 high-definition TVs. This means that no matter where you look you’re going to have a handful of TVs within sight. Even if you’re outside of the Planet Hollywood, you don’t have to miss the games either, thanks to a ton of monitors surrounding the outside bar for onlookers. Not just a great place to watch a Monday Night Football game but how ‘bout some babes riding bareback on a mechanical bull. Nothing wrong about that! Even the food, it’s great too, especially if you’re in the mood for BBQ ribs and chicken.
8. Las Vegas Race & Sports SUPERBOOK
The Las Vegas Hotel SUPERBOOK is the largest sportsbook in the Universe! With over 30,000 square feet of sports watching and betting action, you simply can’t go wrong being here for a Monday night football game or any other game for that matter. There are more than 350 seats, 28 giant screens, and one massive 15′ X 20′ screen for a grand total of over 60 viewing monitors. Check out the ULTIMATE FAN CAVE viewing area featuring 120-inch HD screens, a comfortable lounge and great cocktails. The numerous big-screens show all the days’ biggest games, every day of the year. A key attraction to the huge LVH SUPERBOOK is that it is all SMOKE-FREE. For all the non-smokers this is your refuge. Also, don’t miss out on the ultimate pro-football handicapping contest. It’s $1500 per entry and you can win your share of around $800,000 by picking 5 teams a week against the spread. Not bad for knowing a thing or two about football!
7. Wynn Sports Book – The Wynn Hotel
The Wynn Sports Book is in a class of its own. Seat-for-seat, it’s easily the most comfortable place to catch a Monday Night Football game on the strip. It is definitely not the biggest sports book in town but the layout is designed to efficiently use the area and provide a great sporting atmosphere. The primary sports section has 23 of the most incredible swivel chairs you’ll ever sit in. There’s a lounge behind it with 75 more seats, but these seats are in an enclosed area with a partial view of the Sports Book. These leather chairs aren’t quite as nice as the swivel chairs in the sports section, but they’re better than the majority you’ll find on the rest of the strip. Since seats can be at a premium, get there a few hours hour early to ensure that you get a seat. The sports section has 9 top of the line televisions, along with 6 larger televisions on the opposite wall of the book and 9 other smaller televisions behind the betting windows. Chances are though, during MNF you’ll be glued to the 3 monster screens above the betting area. The Wynn Sports Book is one of the more reserved and sedate locations to watch football on the strip. Watching games here is like watching a game in your rich uncle’s living room with all his friends. If you’re looking for a place to see 10 games at once and air out profanities, this probably isn’t where you’re looking to go.
6. The Sporting House – New York, New York Hotel
The Sporting House now fills the space formerly known as ESPN Zone inside New York-New York. Sure, the logo is different (even if it’s the same colors and a similar design) but not much else has changed and you won’t hear any complaints. Consider this; there are more than 130 TV’s that fans can count on to see every game, in every league, on any given day. The crowning point of the venue remains the Screening Room with its two 16’ high-definition screens with luxurious leather seating reminiscent of the most opulent stadium skyboxes, perfect for Monday Night Football in Vegas! Also, three private viewing rooms serve as the perfect headquarters for your next fantasy draft, complete with their own televisions for those who have graduated beyond old-school draft boards. The bar on the main level still features the digital scoreboard where fans can catch the scores of the day’s games. Also, make sure to go upstairs and check out the All-Star Arcade where 10,000 square feet of interactive and sports-themed attractions await along with additional seating, another bar and, of course, plenty of TVs.
5. Lagasse’s Stadium – Palazzo
Emeril loves food, obvious right? What else does he love? FOOTBALL! Lagasse’s Stadium (As in Emeril Lagasse) at The Palazzo Cantor Race & Sports Book features luxurious seating with plenty of pillows to sink into and watch the Monday Night Football game. In fact, there’s not a bad seat in the house. Each of the more than 100 television screens are strategically placed so that everyone has a view of their favorite sporting event. A highlight of this sports-viewing mecca comes in the form of a large, 9’ by 16’ projection screen, complete with stadium-style seating. Their latest creation allows bettors to design their own fantasy team to match up against the house’s team. The computer will set the odds and give you a choice to bet either side. Look closely and you might see the famous chef catching a MNF game right next to you. The Stadium also has a full menu designed by Chef Emeril Lagasse and full bar as well. The celebrity chef and avid football fan makes sure the menu includes the ultimate tailgating and pub food. Lagasse’s Stadium also offers Cantor Gaming’s mobile sports wagering application, which allows guests to place bets on sports from anywhere in the state of Nevada.
4. Caesars Sports Book – Caesars Palace
At Caesars Palace Hotel, in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, there’s a sports book that’s in a league far above the rest. Classy, great energy and fantastic service are but just a few of the highlights that bring this sports book into the forefront of Vegas Hot Spots’ list for great places to watch Monday Night Football. This “mega book” has 140 seats, all with individual, 12” flat screen TV monitors. Fans alike can also follow all the hard-hitting MNF action on six 12’ by 15’ oversized screens and twelve 50” HD screens located throughout the sports book. The book’s 20’ by 50’, easy-to-read, electronic sports betting LED board displays all the day’s action, along with other wagering options, and promptly updates scores of ongoing games. This is a great spot for the professional sports bettor! You can’t go wrong by choosing this state-of-the-art sports book as it was voted number one by the Las Vegas Review Journal four years in a row!
3. Blondies Sports Bar & Grill – Â Planet Hollywood
Located at Planet Hollywood in the Miracle Mile Shops, Blondies Sports Bar & Grill has actually been voted the best sports bar in the country by MSN and gayot.com. You can only imagine what Monday Night Football is like here, unless your one of their faithful, football fanatic fans that have been here many times before. College football is huge here too, especially The Badgers VS. The Buckeyes game, it can get a little rowdy in here and the buckeyes seem to have a claim on this place. If you’re a Badger fan try Big Dogs on Rancho, the entire place is rooting for Bucky with Badger memorabilia everywhere. Blondies has over 40 big screens ranging from 32″ to 12’! No matter where you are in here you won’t miss a play. If the competition on the screen isn’t enough, cup up and play some beer pong to get your adrenaline pumping. How did Blondies get its name? Take a guess. It’s not the hot waitresses! If you got the right moves you might even get lucky! Blondies is a great place to score.
2. Fat Burger/Fat Bar South Las Vegas Strip
Nothing like a XXXL Burger and Fat Fries to go along with that shake of the “Pom Poms” that is. Cheerleaders on the Strip! Here they are serving up a rough and tumble, good time on Monday nights for football season starting NOW! With a spectacular view of the strip and misters surrounding the bar and patio area, this is definitely the coolest spot on the strip. If you’re walking on Las Vegas Blvd. between MGM and Planet Hollywood stop by this ‘FAT’ joint and get loaded up on some burgers, beer and broads. Fat Burger is of course a West Coast Classic starting in 1947 by a woman named Lovie Yancey in Los Angeles, CA. Now with over 95 stores across the world, the Fatburger/Fat Bar on the Las Vegas Strip is the busiest there is! With great drink specials, and over 12 large HD flat-screen TV’s to watch the big game on, it’s a lock that you’re going to have a blast!
1. Sapphire Gentleman’s Club
OK, Sapphire is already on this list, however, we feel very strongly about including them one more time as this Monday Night Football experience is so far above the rest that it would be an injustice not to mention one more highlight that this venue has to offer. Sapphire has the hands down best Super Bowl PARTY in the country! This is not a joking matter! WE at VegasHotSpots.com take our football very seriously, almost as seriously as our partying and when you put those two factors in the same equation there is only one answer. Sapphire Gentleman’s Club Las Vegas! This party is like the kick-off party but on steroids. Don’t take our word for it, check it out for yourself, Sunday, Feb. 3rd 2013.
