Some NYC apartments are not nearly as spacious as the standard rooms at the Venetian. These suites come with a sunken living room off the bedroom area containing a sofa, a stuffed chair, dining or card table, a television and coffee table. A step up and away brings the bed bridled with thick European textiles, a canopy backrest with personal light, walk-in closet with a safe large enough to fit a laptop, a marble bathroom with two sinks and a vanity and separate shower and bath. And they stocked the rooms with amenities from ten-minute room service to thick brocade block-out curtains. That’s about as much as anyone could ask for when it comes to a room in this town. The resort’s owner plans to make this property the largest hotel in the world. Judging by the size of the rooms, we believe him. Venetian, 702-733-5000.
