Or save a few hundred bucks and walk on over to Harrah's Casino Carnival Court on the Strip. There you'll find Ghirardelli Soda Fountain. Desserts like the Alcatraz Rock, the FogHorn, and the Cable Car are waiting to be devoured. And its all real stuff from San Francisco: mountains of ice cream, hot fudge, dripping marshmallow sauce . . . the King himself would be proud, as well as his imitators. Eat inside the Victorian ice cream parlor, or mill around the Carnival bar outside while enjoying live country music. Life can't get much sweeter, unless you're covering your sundae with c-notes.
