Rainbow Bar And Grill
Long a fixture on Hollywood's Sunset Strip, the famed Rainbow Bar and Grill, which once entertained the likes of Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and The Doors, has opened a place in Las Vegas. Besides its impressive musical pedigrees, the Rainbow is known for its red leather décor, its impressive collection of musical memorabilia, and its Italian-American cuisine – highlighted by its wide variety of pizzas and its homemade chicken soup (along with the best French fries in the world). In Vegas the Rainbow has, in short order, established itself as the best place to end a late night or start an early day. Come by between 4-8 a.m. and try the Rainbow's special, fried chicken and waffles. Now, when's the last time you heard those two items in the same sentence, much less on the same plate? The Rainbow Bar and Grill is open 24 hours, and is located across the street from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. (The Strip has its "four corners," and now Paradise has its "rock and roll" corner.). 4480 S. Paradise. (702) 898-3525.
