Though it's often hard to notice, Las Vegas is just a western town putting on the best of facades. For a taste of the local culture, check out the Double Down, a mile east of the Strip on Paradise Road. A typical Saturday night features plenty of tattooed women and all the Ass Juice, a local's favorite made from the remainders of over poured drinks, you can handle. Just $3 a shot, or three for $11, for a taste that will either make you vomit or greatly increase your drinking legend. Bumper stickers and murals grace the walls while hardcore music blares out of the jukebox. The locals like to shoot a little pool, graze on vending machine gourmet, and let their mullets wave.
