What is it about private clubs that makes them so attractive? The harder it is to gain entry, the more exclusive
and attractive it becomes. As many Las Vegas locals know, the House of Blues Foundation Room is not only
the most exclusive private club in Las Vegas, it is where the real movers and shakers meet on a nightly basis.
So with that "foundation", let's tour!

Restaurant -
Members have access to the Foundation Room Dining Room on a nightly
basis, commencing at 6:00 pm. Executive chef Russell Grabe changes
the menu to suit the seasons, and always offers a wide range of eclectic
choices. In the fine dining world presentation is everything, and Russell
spares no expense to make each meal a dining experience. On the
appetizer menu, try the flatbread or scallops. For the second course,
the Godfather recommends the tossed greens or lobster medallions
(surrounded by sashimi-style tuna). From the main course, everything is
wonderful!
The Mixing Area -
As stated previously, the Foundation Room is a members-only venue.
In addition to the Dining Room, members may mingle in the bar area, also
known as the "mixing area".
Members Rooms -
The Foundation Room has several "group" type rooms. The ShangriLa,
located at the end of "haunted mansion hallway", holds about 100 people
and has its own private bar. One wall is filled with windows that provide a
spectacular view of Las Vegas. Highly recommended for your next
Christmas party! Next up is the Jacobean. This used to be office space, however GM Russell Jones has
converted it to a nice lounging area for groups up to 10. Finally, there is the Media Room, also known as "the
Godfather's office". Big-screen TV, an outstanding sound system, and a DVD player - what else could you ask
for? A cigar humidor takes up one wall; that's right, the Godfather has locker number one.

Private Rooms -
There are also several private rooms for parties of up to six. Guests can
have dinner served right on the table featured in Thursday night's TV hit
CSI, which used the Buddha room to film an episode this past season.
Many people have asked the Godfather, "Is this where all the sex and drugs
take place?" The answer is, "right up until the time you get caught".
Bottom line, the Foundation Room is as exclusive, private, members-only
club. There is zero tolerance for anything illegal, and anyone wishing to
test those boundaries will be escorted out of the club.
The Balcony -
Possibly the best view in Las Vegas is available from the
Foundation Room balcony. Pictured at left, guests can see right down the
heart of Las Vegas Blvd., which is breathtaking after dark. During the
spring and fall, the balcony is a great place to have a drink, a cigar, and
enjoy conversation with friends.
Staff -
Russell Jones is the General Manager of the House of Blues Las
Vegas, and he has always taken exceptional care of the Godfather. Luis
Reyneri, a cigar aficionado, is the current Foundation Room Manager. Luis
gives personal attention to all of the Foundation Room members, and
directs the nightly activities.
