The Revere Golf Club is located about fifteen minutes from The Strip in the Anthem hills, which is one of our local retirement communities. There are two courses here, the Lexington and the Concord.
The Concord is the easier of the two, if there is such a thing. Each hole on both courses have names themed by the American Revolution. With names like `Midnight Ride` and `Iron Side` you can`t help but get the patriotic fever.
My favorite hole on the Concord is the 18th hole, also known as `Independence`. You tee off with a lake in front of you and aim for the gap right down the center. If you hit it right you can be sitting pretty to hit the green on your second shot of this par 5. Don`t be short to the green or you can end up in the rock-lined creek where your Las Vegas luck comes into play as your ball can disappear, wind up back on the fairway or right on the green after bouncing around in the creek.
Don`t go long either as the back of the green has two big sand traps. Hitting from those traps are quite the challenge as they are both down hill to the green and yes, if you skull it you are playing the pinball shot into the creek. Fortunately the sand is thick and fluffy so don`t worry about not being able to get under the ball.
The Lexington course is a bit more challenging with tighter fairways and longer holes. The signature hole is the 7th hole or `King`s Chapel`, which is a wide open par five that is up-hill to a three tier green with a beautiful waterfall behind the green. Keep your ball below the pin so that you can putt up to the pin otherwise if you are putting downhill to the pin it`s very easy to go past the pin and find yourself rolling down and off the front of the green.
Overall the course is in very good condition with greens that run fast and true. Both courses are very hilly with lots of elevated tee`s. The staff is very helpful and the club house is quite spectacular with it`s view of the The Strip and the Las Vegas valley.
They are strict on the dress code with collard shirts being mandatory and NO blue-jeans. They do have club rentals and while the rates for tourists are high compared to the local rates it is one of the best priced courses for tourists and a view to die for.
Both courses are well worth the price and all with a fantastic view of the Las Vegas Strip.

The Revere can be referred to as a golfers pristine oasis, overlooking the Las Vegas Skyline and mountains beyond. It provides a pleasant and peaceful area in the midst of a scorching, stimulating, and erotic Las Vegas desert.
The Revere Golf Club offers two inspiring courses: the Lexington course offers a 7,143-yard, par-72 layout will test your golf skills, the Concord course offers a 7,034-yard, par-72 layout that provides lush Bermuda greens for excellent leisure play.
The courses are surrounded by wonderfully luxurious multi-million dollar homes, perfect for making a person feel like a baller while on the course. The golf club`s staff was enthusiastic and playfully sarcastic while maintaining excellent professional service.
Last week was my first visit to this course and I plan to return for another round immediately. I discovered that the Concord has very few hazards, which is surprising for Vegas courses, however I came to realize the greens are fast and extremely hilly. An excellent course for someone looking to improve their putting game, as well for those just looking to have some fun (since losing balls is very unlikely with the lack of hazards).
The cart girls are extremely hospitable and came around the course about twice while at play. Fully stocked, and orders from the country club for meals could be placed with the girls. The carts came with a wind shield and ice chests with complimentary water bottles.
I would recommend hitting the course during your trip to Vegas. An ideal golf course for bachelor parties and for golfers just looking for some great golf conditions in Las Vegas. I`d join in a round at this course anytime.
